Sweet Boys I Have ...

Well, I got stung by a bee today (I have been stung by almost everything under the sun: a hornet, tons of bees, yellowjacket, scorpion! i guess i must be sweet - lol) guh ... there are a TON of bees hanging out in the tree right outside our front door - nice, huh? As Levi, Landon and I were leaving to take Levi to school, I picked up Landon, and there was a bee on his butt. Needless to say, it stung me right under my wrist - ouch! Thank goodness it didn't sting Landon or Lou. So before I know it, Levi rushes inside and comes out with a baking soda paste (he learned at homeschooling with Miss Audrey), a baggie of ice, and a paper towel. He told me exactly how to get the poison out and how i needed to ice my sting. It was the sweetest, cutest thing. So I baked him a batch of Turtle Brownies. What a sweet boy.

Also a couple of weeks ago, Landon picked me my first flowers, and I have to show you the pic I took on my camera phone. Aren't they the sweetest boys ever?!?!

Levi's 12th Birthday

well ... i finally am uploading the pics of Lou's 12th birthday ... he requested manicotti with meat sauce and parmesan mashed potatoes for dinner. For his cake he asked for a chocolate ice cream cake with peanut butter icing and he wanted the icecream in the center to be peanut butter cup perfection from Coldstone (and in exchange for the chocolate ice cream they use he wanted cake batter ice cream!!) -- i guess he knows what he wants -- lol ... it turned out yummy if i do say so myself! Perfection of the Baseball Stance

Our Smiley Man has perfected the baseball stance at 1 1/2 ... WOW! he watched the boys at baseball practice ... then to my surprise was practicing in the kitchen when i was making Levi's birthday cake. Luckily, Mufasa and Mor Mor got him on tape that night when he was showing off for them! here are some pics and a vid. what a smart boy we have!

Landon's First Painting

well ... Landon painted his first picture today. we got finger paints and he used a brush and his hands to make the picture for daddy. when he first used his finger he looked at it and said, "ditty" which means dirty - then once i reassured him it was ok - he totally went all out and stuck his whole hand in the paint! hahaha. i think he had fun! here are some pics!

Fair 2008

We went back to the fair on Friday to let Levi go with his friends and go on the rides ... i was bummed! i LOVE LOVE LOVE fair rides and couldn't go because i'm preggo - oh well ... it's worth it! anyway ... so while Lou was walking around with his friends, we took Landon to the big slide, some smaller rides, the fun house, and to pet the animals! he loved it and didn't want to get off the truck ride! lol.

Demolition Derby 2008

We took Landon and Levi to the demo derby at the fair this past Wednesday. Landon was enthralled with the cars (this was his first time!) ... he had a good time and also rode the smaller ferris wheel with me! it was so much fun. Levi won a penguin that Landon comandeered.
